When the game came out, I always wanted to play it.
so I bought a pirated one. The game play and graphics was nice , storyline is typical but historical. But as most pirated games are... there's no online play.
no updates, no multiplayer and some(most) cut scenes have been cutted.

Then, one fine day.... As i was minding my own business on maya ( a computer modeling program) . My moral groupmate informed me that he sent me the file for our moral presentation. So I opened my email to check.
it turns out I havent been checking my mail. So I begin to read.
then, One particular email caught my eye:
Steam Store : you received a gift copy of the game Shogun Total war 2

Thinking that's its a prank, I proceed to open it anyway.
and then! a pop up appeared. its the steam installer asking me to install the game.
I was : "What!? Seriously??"

Someone has been too kind to me. I dont know why though....

it's only the 2nd week, and already had a long week.

Maya: a new software where we (finally) learn the secrets of animation.
drawing for animation: Drawing with markers. then using pen for details.
photography: It's fun. But High expectations from lecturer.
2D animation: A software so old, it's not even a software... ... By using the traditional methods of drawing, create a 30 min video.
life drawing : Not yet started.

Moral: intimidation, and more intimidation.

Studies are fun. but they take a lot of work and time. ... .... and money
I received an encouragement letter. And felt way better.
Thank you.

It's about a man and the Door ( duh!)

the man tries to push open the door and could not open it. he tries again and again, he uses his weapons and powers but still could not open it.
At the end, we see that it's actually a Pulling door, you gotta pull to open it.

I got the initial idea from seeing my housemate trying to open his room door when he lost his key. Yes, his room door is locked. he had to spend all night trying to open his door in vain. then, another house mate used the spare key to open the door for him.

That was initially what i was gonna do, but i changed it.
Sometimes, when we're doing stuff, we thought the way we do it is always the right way. Maybe because it always works and we keeping doing it. Then we fail one day not knowing why.
maybe it suppose to be the Other way?

I met an Ex-school mate toady. He was hanging out with another bunch of friends. Some Whom I knew, And some never knew.
We Chatted about stuff that has happened to us during the years which we haven't seen each other.
Somehow, the topic Changed to Me, and what I do.

So, I told this friend that TOA (The One Academy) has a lot of homework, so much it takes your sleep away.
its not because of bad time management, its just that a good work takes time to do.

Of course, Some people just don't believe it.
I don't blame them.
when I was in Secondary School, Im not the type to do homework. So telling these people that I stayed up to 5.45 am doing nothing but my assignments doesn't make any sense. So I tried to sincerely tell these guys that what I said was very true and real. It's happening to all (yes ,all) students in the One Acadeny who wants to pass the semester.

Another art student among the group who's not from TOA, Explained that I could have just take an Idea from google, and use it for my projects, Also, I could have paid professionals to do my all assignments for me. When all else fails, just bribe the lecturer. With that, I ask him if he know what a 'learning process' is, and above all, originality' .

he started talking about leaving originality to the professionals and learning process is just a phrase for teachers to make money. but what tickes me of most is :'.... .... After all, what your just doing is, drawing and painting, right?

Wrong, Bloody wrong.

After leaving the group, It make me a little worried about the future, Will All Malaysian Artist be like this? No wonder They say Malaysia isn't a good place to study art! It's all because of idiots like these.

Oh, God, Please help us Malaysian artist and designers in future.

Today, I was chatting with a group of people.

for some reason, the topic went on to 'religion'. No, I don't consider Christianity a religion, but gotta keep up with the conversation right?
The conversation led on to 'The Last Supper' by Leonardo Da Vinci . So, I told them what I knew. 12 great men, around a table, one of them will betray Jesus thus the disciples reaction.
Quite suddenly, a chap try to correct me saying that there are NOT 12 men. but 11 men. One of them is a woman. And Jesus married that woman and have a son ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

How Could He say such things??!!

A quick flash trough my memories reminded me where've I heard this:

I told him Da vinci Code isn't real. Dan Brown, the author himself said so.
The chap STILL insist Da vinci Code is a true story.
So I told the chap how that 'woman' isn't a woman.

He told me he knows this because he IS christian and he knows how that man Is a woman and how Jesus got Married and have a son. He went on saying how a certain european is the decedent on Jesus.
I wasn't really listening after that, I wanted to bury my face in my hands. I really do.
How can someone believes a fairy tale when the writer says its a fairy tale?

Okay.
So apparently I've been yawning in class and finding myself not having energy when it's needed.
I found out why. and yes,... the answer is very simple.

those are some of my housemates. (except the guy sleeping)
they're all Indonesians. (including the guy sleeping)
they're all playing DoTA. Now, That's fine. I'm cool with it.

However, the time is 1.20A.M . I've told them a thousand times that I have to go to church the next day. and I need to sleep early.

Do They Listen?
Yes. And No.

yes: The Chaps using the computers will listen.

No: That guy in white won't. worst still. He's one of my roommate. when the others leave, he will continue playing. Now, im still cool with that. The thing is, he'll curse, whine, and scream ALOUD when bad things happened.

If it isn't that, then it's simply because I'm busy drawing or working on something.

Okay, So I promised to update this blog. Guess what?
I doing it now!! (YaYs)

life in The One Academy is a little different form life in LASALLE.
For example:
a) LASALLE have its own building and it look REALLY cool. The One academy doesn't really have a building (other than the main block).
b)I take an MRT to LASALLE 4 minutes to bugis , followed by an 12 minute walk. I walk to the One Academy it takes only 5- 8 minutes.

So how have I been doing?
Well,... I used to not been drawing real people until quite recently...... .... ..... there's this class, it's called figure studies.you're only allowed to use wooden pencils to draw REAL people.
nope, we arn't drawing live models yet. We're drawing people from magazines or printed pictures from the internet. we call these pictures: References.
And,...... yes, we have to find our own references. OURSELVES without any help from any lecturer.
Hmm? You wanna see? Okay,... but they're not perfect though... feel free to comment.

This is done in another class called Drawing.
In this class, you don't get to draw people. Ye Only get to draw objects.
however, you gotta draw EVERYTHING you see. realistically and accurately.
this drawing took me 3-3.5 hours, I've got B for this.

yes your right.however, .... A =lecturer. to get an 'A' ye gotta be as good as the lecturer.
all works MUST be submitted on time. any late works will not be counted. Simply do your work?
prepare to get 'R' . guess what it stands for.

Currently, I'm staying in a rented house. along with other the One Academy students. one of them is my class mate. they're all rather strange people with strange and different backgrounds. However, we get along really well. Somehow...

The Story of the Pittyful Fool

There was once a great young man.
Full of promise, unspoken potential, Inspired ,enthusiasm and great talent for most things.
This man is is one of those who dislike books with lots of words.so he resorts to unscientific academics. (sports, music, arts, & games)
His mentor groomed him to be a man of honor, and great fear of God.
He emerged, a great and almost perfect man.

One day, this man reached a new destination. His new environment wasn't too pleasant to him at first but, with his relatives, and his seniors support he was able to adapt. While in the new land tha man learnt all he can, made countless new friends and above all.... enjoyed himself very much.

Then, at his first test. he did his best from morning to morning. he was quite please with himself.
Until he realized he failed the test.

Quite suddenly, the man lost his cool. venge his anger, lose all communication, and lock himslef away from all contacts for roughly six months. Until one of his peers unveiled the truth.
the man's peers tried to help. He snapped at them. Shouted at them and refused their help. He find himself no more the man he used to be.

pathetic.

they found a New place of learning for this man. They drove 5 hours to and 5 back to register the man. took a week. and then at the last minute, the man refused to leave for the new place.
after 4 hours of discussion. they disappointed and heart broken, the reluctantly gave in to the mans demands.

the man regrets what he has done. he realised he was a total asshole causing nothing but trouble for people. he has no idea what to do with his life. but his future isn't as bright as it used to anymore

Okey, I told myself I'm going to make my sketchbook up to date by today. I'm going to load pictures into my hard drive, then print them all out. Today.

so I left my sketch book on my bed so that I can begin work after returning home ( don't wanna waste time you see...)

I reached the school place, attend school. 2 minutes after class ended, '( I won't mention his/her name. we shall call him/her Q) called and ask me to help Q with some homework. Being a kind (?) guy, I help Q. then, out of gratitude Q ask Me to go play BBall with Q. How could I resist?
7.30pm got home.bathe, went down eat. Then, Forgot I was supposed to eat with Ryan & our M'sian gang T.T............ Pathetic.

Then, after eating, I went up to my room, Open the door,.... Guess What I see?

not only did I forget to eat with my favorite people in singapore, but i forgot the main reason (going to class was secondary) why I came out side. Assessment is next week. my sketch book is not up to date.

My landlord's stove is attached to a brick table or something....
the stove's cover is actually removable. It's tick & and heavy, so I presume it's metal.

One fine evening, while I was cooking Instant ramen*. I removed the stove cover, & cooked my ramen in a pot.
When the ramen was cooked, I poured the noodles & the soup into a bowl.

With my hand under the bowl........ -_-'''

The soup was so hot, I dropped my bowl onto the stove cover.

Crap,.........

Long story short,.... After much negotiations, I gave the Landlord 100$.
The next day, When I went to buy myself lunch, I realised,.... After giving that 100$, I only have 25$ left!! & that day is a wednesday. which means,... I only can eat 4 meals! ( the cheapest I've seen is 2.40$ so far...) worst news is,... my mom isn't at home, So i can't go home 2 retrieve money! So, I lived on the coins I gathered which amounts to..... 35$ 6 meals! can It last?

It didn't.... I starve..... coz I hav no money :(

Screwed, wasted, & poor ( financially), I skipped Breakfast, and simultaneously, dinner.
This stopped until my Cell Group people noticed, and on thursday(after 1 week 1 day) they gave 50$ for me to buy food . Thank God For CG members.. XD

So,.... Thinking I could last another week, Today,the monthly (but irregular) coming chinese maid came to clean the house.
Sure, She cleans the house,... but I have to pay 10$ for the maid. looking into my wallet,...
I only have 30$ left!!! This means I would have 20$ after this. This coming friday(23.10.2009)
I have to come back to Malaysia NO MATTER WHAT! a train ticket would cost 16$, bus is er.... 8$.

20$ - 8$ = 12$. 20$ - 16$ =4$ . Either way.....

BAD NEWS

Okey, lets start with health.
I got a fever. A freaking 38.5'c, worst part is its on a review week.
the review week is for students to have a mock assessment. Lectures will view through their students work, and will grade them on their current standard. This way, The students will know their weakness and their strengths, what to work on and what to Really work on.
I missed 1 out of 3 ( I think) All because my body won't listen to me and keep sleeping. all because I have a fever. :(
So the next day (Today,17.9.2009) I forced myself out of bed, went to school and finish up the rest of my review and also my my assessment. I have 2 assessment today, since this is the 'BAD NEWS, I'll tell only 1. I got a ngam - ngam Pass for video. - 40D.
Pathetic right?? 40%!!! Its freaking nuts!! if you guys were to get 40% in Math /BM /English/ Whatever, I bet You'll cry. Huh? What? yes. I meant you.
After running around school doing this and that, My body couldn't take it anymore. It broke down, and I'm insanely tired now. Freaking fever..... :(
oh, last but not least, I'm running short of cash.

GOOD NEWS
Starting from next week(21.9.2009) its a holiday!! :D Yaieeeeee!!! This holiday lasts for 1 week.
it's called project week. its normally for people to finish whatever homework they've been missing out. but, for other people, It's a Holiday.
However, I don't have any class tomorrow, So,.....
Starting from 18.9.2009, I'm on a holiday!! So wanna hang out with this nice and friendly(quite) guy? make plans!! call people! lets meet up and catch up!

A close call and a question

Me and some friends were hurrying to this other guy's pub which just opened.
as we were at City hall getting out of the building, This big, plum, Black guy/Indian guy/whatever was asking us to buy some stuff.
All I heard from him was: ''Hey, are you intrested in..... group...... CFH.....'' Well,... that's basically what I heard. But I know he was trying to sell something.....

Got out of the building 2 mins later, the next thing I knew, my friend got tapped on the shoulder by the same ....er..... Guy. this time with 3,... no, 4 more people. one of them is this short, musular dude with tattoos all over his arm. the other 3 people looks like your normal punks. worst of all,.... they don't seem friendly. mucular guy was pushing my friend saying:'' sia mi tai chi? sia mi tai chi?''
the situation does not look good.
on the other hand we have 7 people. out number them by 2.(good enough) we have with us a kendo master, a karate black belt, basketball player, rugby player, a gym goer, an ex-athelete (thats me), and our CG leader. best of all, we have our God protcting us.

So,....

why not waste them?? (waste in this term means to knock 'em out)

Sadly/ thankfully, that was not our desicion. our CG leader made peace with the guys,.. and listen to what they have to say.
Apperntly, It was a misunderstaning. the big guy said something to the muscular guy. & the muscular guy interpreted it wrongly. these 5 people are ex-convicts. scince they're ex-convicts it's very difficult for them to find a job. so, the prison wardren told them to sell smiley keychains for 5$ each to earn a living. The thing is,... it's their 1st day at work & they kinda feeling Emo. So, when we were in a hurry, My friend must have said something that ofended him unintentionally.
In the end, we bought some keychains, make up, & say good bye.

Now,... If people were to be more understanding and open, none of this would have happen. Because, If people were to be more understanding, they would see that these ex-convicts wanted to start a new life. they want to be 'legal' and have a proper job. But they can't because no one wants to hire them....
Why can't people see each other as who they are, and not who they were??

now, interesting part..... what I did on monday. (25.8.09)....

We're to make a structure out of drinking straws,strings, rubberband, stapler, and more drinking straws. we cannot make any parachute or wings. we can't use adhesive materials too....
next, We have to insert an egg into the structure. The structure then had to be thrown down from 2nd floor, then 5th floor, next, 6th floor.

This was my initial work. but it got desroyed by a mad dog.

Today I had to go to school.
As expected, only 2 people knows my birthday in school.
but I didn't manage to see them.

made a wish (can't tell), blow out the candles, and eat the cake by myself.
This is the 1st time i cried one my birthday. :(
I really miss home. i missed the time where my family would buy this really nice chocolate cake, and we would eat it together, then we would joke around and have fun the whole night.

Okey, here what happened today.....

Frist of all,.... we managed to ''show off'' our 1st ''project'' ever.
It's the postcard project. We ( all foundation in visual arts students) went to the beach in east coast yesterday. that was to gather things and inspiration. many people gathered interesting things. such as: leaves, sand, grass, cigarette butts ( apparantly singapore isn't that clean as I thought), and a hermit crab shell. I was so tired, (cuz I took the wrong bus.) I did my postcard as simple as I could. Surprisingly,It turns out quite well, as I only used colour pencils.

Next,( Mom will love this part....)
I got chosen as class rep. (class monitor lizard)
How?/Why? Because I helped my PPD find a chair for her.
Strange.....

Then,
I've manage to meet MeiQi and Chris.
And also realized how genuinely grateful I should be...

Finally,
Great News!!
I don't have class on Friday!!
Yay!!

So that means I'll definitely be coming back on the 7th.

Stuff learned 1:
School has started. The good news is,.... Its quite fun as Joanna has mentioned to me before. As long as you do a good job on your assignment, You're going somewhere.
Bad news: This new school life is kinda tiring. And, Can I REALLY finish my assignments on time?

Stuff learned 2:
Take the right bus. Or, waste time waste money , and have a long frustrating ride. Today I took the wrong bus while going home. I had to sit in the bus from east coast all the way to ang mo kio, crazy right!? not finish yet! I also have to take An MRT form ang mo kio to kallang. then, walk back home.
bus fare: 1SG$
MRT ride: 2.50 SG$
Total money spent: 3.50SG$ enough to buy 2 cheese cakes and a egg tart.
Time wasted: 2hours 35 minutes. enough time to play a 3 on 3 basketball match.

Stuff learned 3:
Singaporeans (especially the men!!) loves to smoke. My landlord smoke, 15 people on Kallang MRT station spotted smoking*, 12 people in bugis station spotted smoking*, some of my classmates smokes, some of my schoolmates smoke even at the each today, many people were seen smoking. Man , This is truly a smoking country.... don't they know that smoking kills?

Stuff learned 4:
10.8.2009(mon) & 11.8.2009(tue) are holidays. due to singapore national day ( I don't celebrate that) and founder's day ( Er.... college stuff).
Hmmm........

An Emo post

Today was my orientation. After the Day, I went home, go in to my room, and Prayed like I never did. I wept, I cried, And I just kept praying for various things...
Why did I do that?

I already know that college life is not a breeze. However, After listening to lecture's talk, My DPP* talk, I really don't know whether I could meet their standards. These people are all practicing artists! My DPP Expects 100% of us to get an A. Because last year all of her students got an 'A'. Not a pass but an A. Can I really do that? will I let her down? Will I let everyone down?
My dad is retiring soon. We only have enough for me to study for these 4 years, not to mention my bro may go overseas too. Failing in any assessment's meant failure. Which means I gotta repeat the same thing the next year.

I CANNOT AFFORD TO FAIL!!
IF I FAIL, I SUCK!!!

When ever I See these senior guy's work, My mind no longer say:'' wow, I could do better.'' Instead ,It asks :'' Can I do it? Is it possible?''
seeing another person's art work meant discouragement. Is this the college Life I've hope for? Maybe I was too enthusiastic? Do I have what It takes? How Is it possible for me to at least please these group of practicing artist with what I have!? No one's going to help me now. It's just depressing....:( Most of the time I caught myself asking myself,:'' Why didn't I do form 6?''
Did God really place me here? does he really wants me to do arts?

I miss my home. I miss the people back in kluang .... I wanna go home. Why did I choose to come to this place??

I did nothing but stayed in my room today.
Okey, that's not true,... I also went to take my learning portal username & password.
Oh, today I also went to do marketing....
What? You don't believe me?? It's true! No, seriously, Honest. I bought lots of vegetables, canned sardines ,olive oil & canned tuna. Not out of my own money, but the landlord's son aka landlord. ( He told me to buy because all of us wanted to eat home cook food & also because I'm very free. For the moment...)
So,.... I cooked my apartment mates a meal.... Not bad eh? ( Thanks mom for teaching me how to cook!!)
It's simple meal actually,with fried eggs, vegetables, Fish(canned tuna) & chambell soup.
( Landlady left some food here. Must be because I told her I could cook!)

Staying In my room for most of the day isn't that nice as going out. Out there may very hot(I mean HOT!), but it's fun out there, In the room is much cooler but,... at most I only can do facebooking, e-mail checking, & manga reading....

Well, some good parts,... I've never seen Channel 5, Channel 8, central, Channel news Asia, Suria & Channel U, THIS CLEAR BEFORE!!! XD
Tomorrow (29.7.2009) will be registration day dy,... Then I'll be a College student... It's still very difficult to register in to my head '' I'm now in college.'' I mean, after so many months of holidaying around I Don't think I can get out of ''holiday mood'' this easily.

Yes, As the tittle says it, I'm not in Malaysia anymore.
So many things Discovered in 3 days, can't tell exactly all but, will try.
okay, here goes:
This new Singaporean environment is quite new to me,having staying in a flat instead of a house. to also have a Smaller room than my usual room at home is not usual for me. Also, To have a landlord and a landlady and the need to pay rent is very new.
Class haven't started yet. Church was nice... certain food here is better than in Malaysia. People here are both friendly and cautious. My landlord and landlady are nice people who really likes clean their apartment. apartment-mates are: landlord's son, and 2 german dudes.
weather here is hotter than usual. MRT makes traveling easier and faster. things are cheap and expensive, some people (especially those in gov services) are law by law. (one could be fine for chewing gum!!!) The laptop my dad let me use for the moment does not seems to agree with my hard disk.
After staying for 3 days here, I realized That actually I do miss my home.
I miss those days where I could be with the familiar people I know, the town I knew so well, I miss going to YF, I miss doing stupid things with everyone... Yes, I know I suffer from homesickness.... :(
never the less I must adept to my new surroundings. please continue to pray....
oh, yeah I haven't made contact with christopher, and MeiQi isn't here yet...

Today (20.7.2009) I was out at a coffee shop, busy concentrating making this soldier.(don't woory I had permission, dad's tenant you see,...)

Then, while I was in the mood, there was this little malay kid, roughly about 9 or 10 came around to look at what I'm doing. After looking at me working on this half complete soldier for a few minutes , He said these word in English: ''YOU SUCK!!",
The cheeky boy ran off. Just like that....
Confusion, irritation, annoyance, And other negative mixed feelings came to play.
Do I suck at sculpting?, is this not well made? , how will he know I suck?, crouching tiger hidden dragon? How dare he!!, is he saying I suck? Why did he say that? ...............
ugh,.... too confusing. so many unanswered questions.

I looked at the soldier, 2 words came to my mind. No, sadly it's not : 'it's good',
instead it's: " He's right."
So I undid the sculpture, and tried to make it better. No, it didn't get better i got worst. and worst, and worst, and worst and...... Then Mr. ng (dad's tenant) came over to see and ask how am I doing.
I told him.
he just told me not to think of what other people says and just do whatever that seems right Sounds good.
Then, miracle happened, the sculpture gets better and better!! cool?
The truth is, Its all in the mind la.... How is this so?
hmmm..... just think about it.

I've just finished with my fast from PS2. One month ago, I realized I have an unusual craving for Playing the PS. At church camp, Nelson asked me an interesting question:'' If Jesus were to tell you to stop playing PS can you do it?''
'No'
That's why I took a fast from playing PS. to make myself more 'normal'. there were many times I've wanted to play just to take a break, But It would be very wrong.... so I haven't played PS for a month. Fasting complete with no flaws. Well, Enough about me fasting, now for my opinion on fasting.....

Fasting is primarily the act of willingly abstaining from some or all food, drink, or both, for a period of time. A fast may be total or partial concerning that from which one fasts, and may be prolonged or intermittent as to the period of fasting. However, Fasting may also be the act of willingly sustaining from certain acts such as playing sports, driving, saying certain words.... etc.
In a medical context, Fasting is required to calculated a persons metabolism.

The act of fasting is mentioned in both Old and New Testements.
In Isaiah 58, Isaiah chastised the Israelites for the unrighteous methods and motives for fasting.
In Matthew 6: 16-18 ,Jesus warned his followers against fasting only to make others admire them. He suggested practical steps should be taken to fast in private.
Fasting is also practiced by Muslims, Buddists, and other religions for reasons such as atoning for their sins.

It isn't very wise to simply just fast form anything. The act of fasting should never be taken lightly as God sees the heart. This makes fasting a serious act. No joke.

yes. It's been sometime since I last Blog.

I've been to church camp, MYPG and did some other small outings.

Firstly.... Church Camp

Church camp was a real blast. But I didn't manage to take many photographs ( I usally would) I've truly experienced God at this Camp more than ESPolosion camp. I even manage to have an instant gift from God!! ( which is to being able to watch sun rise every morning at the camp).

I also manage to learn many things... too many to mention.

For those who went to Camp, when I gave my testimony, I didn't tell everything I've learnt. Because that would take to much time.

Next,MYPG

We did a lot of serious praying. We prayed for very long hours. For those who don't really like to pray, though I don't know why,... you shoudn't go for MYPG. Because MYPG is only for those who are really serious about praying.

Now,... the joke is,.... I was the photographer ( I even took videos!!). so? Where's all the photo's!!?? Well,... most of them are in paulus'es camera so, if u want pictures, go to paulus.

It's been quite sometime since my acceptance into lassalle.
But anyway, here are some pictures of what I did. ( they aren't all of them.)
Enjoy while I explain a bit.

First of all,... Naruto

This dude is made of Clay. Yes, Its made of CLAY. Not plasticine. The clay it's made up of is called 'Air Clay'. It Took 7 hours to complete and paint this guy. His hair? I did them one by one.

Next, Sasuke....
This Dude is supposed to be of naruto's Best friend. For more info check out The Naruto comic from One Manga . Sasuke is also made of 'Air Clay'. Except for his hair can you guess what it's made from? I put most of the effort in to making his clothes and his sword. ( his sword was very difficult to straighten!!) I took 5 hours to make this model

There are all together four air clay models. All air clay models have copper wire's in them. These models can conduct electricity trough a small hole. (I didn't take any pictures for the electricity conduction part.) Xo

Now for some not really amazing stuff.

This german soldier was made from eraser dust. Yes it's made from eraser dust ou don't know what eraser dust is? It's okey many people don't know either. Just go look up wikipedia. I made this eraser dust figure while watching 'Band of Brothers.' I paused the movie and started to model the eraser dust into the figure above. This one took me just 5 minutes to make it. Don't believe it? Just Believe it.

This is an american soldier during the 'American Revolution' I was watching 'The patriot'. I also paused the movie and made this from eraser dust. I took 8 minutes to make this.

Some of you must be wondering Why I took so long to make an air clay model while The eraser dust models are so quick to be done. The reason for this, is beacuse I was more familiar with eraser dust than air clay. plus air clay dries faster than eraser dust.

Oh, The eraser dust idea is Copy righted. Did it last week. sorry haters.... XD

Some HAppenings. some ReGrets

Today in church we had a Global Day Of Prayer. 300 ++ people from all over johor and some other parts of Malaysia came to our church to pray for our nation.
It was also probably the Longest church service ever.
Today might probably be the day my choir career ends.
And, Yes yosh, I glad that I survived the day.

At 2.00pm we youths went out to different parts of kluang to pray for the town.
I followed yoshua-senpai in his super cool car (provided you remember to wind down the window)
Along with Cheng yee, and two guys from Muar :Timothy, and Calvin. We were assigned to pray for the region near SMKTABK ( if you don't know the place, I feel sorry for you.) We all were praying for Crime, school, Community, & economy in the area.Yosh drove around the area as each one of us take turns to pray in the car.
We were praying and observing the place to think of something to pray for. Then as we were praying for people near Kampung Paya to come to know the Lord, I realised that These people here didn't come to know the Lord partialy because of.... ME!!

Scripture Union had a children's ministry seminar in Malacca. CBC sent a few of us to attend it.
Ant Margaret, Joel, James, Ant. Marie and I took a bus there yesterday.. some of the shalom teachers also went. The training was tiring but fun & useful.
we went there on friday (17.4.2009) & came back on saturday(18.4.2009).
During one of the sessions, of of the committee members mentioned the above statement. It also meant: telling the gospel isn't easy!!
That night me & Joel were talking on the bed there chatting about different stuff. Then, I mentioned about this orang asli guy telling me to get a GF. then, James came into the room, I told him what I was telling Joel. James starts to preach it!! woah! he started telling about worldy values, his kindergarden, his time in BB, why his in the kindergarden,..etc, etc....
Man, I sure was happy that I went to this seminar. I learnt so much from it!!

This is one of my favorite comic. Its called 平旦漫画 (ping ton comic). The author and artist for this comic is 王德志 ( huang2 de2 zhi4). This guy's comics are mostly about school life in Malaysia but he also draws some interesting things in life . Ping ton comics drawings are very, very simple. The jokes are sometimes lame but at times 'realistic'.
I kinda grew up with this comic. Then One day , while I was reading this comic I thought to myself:" If this guy, who don't have much academic qualification, and quite terrible drawing can publish a good number of comic books why not me?"
And so,my resolve to be come an artist grew thanks to ..... Pington comic.

Then, was told that jie maria & meiqi R finding an apartment to stay... Sound good & bad.

Guess What!! I've just got a letter of offer.
From Universiti Tun Abdul Razak!!!
They're telling me that, they're offering me to study Diploma in Management, Bachelor of Management (Hons), & Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons)!! When the folks at home (and one in nilai) heard this their jaws dropped....
And then closed....
then Dad, Mom & KoKo told my that these courses are those which straight 'A' students would begged to go to.... and then get rejected. But,... I'm no straight 'A' student, I didn't apply for Abdul Razak i any way, neither am I interested to go to management, and they send me a letter of offer?
WOW.....
Well, actually they kinda sent this at the wrong time. Cuz I've made up my mind on Lassalle already....

A Great day in Singapore

No, I didn't go to Singapore today to have fun. Seriously,honest.

I went because I have an an interview at the Lassalle college of Arts. cool eh?

Unfortunately,... I was sick, still went anyway. On the way to singapore, I was praying there like I never prayed before cuz I wasn't very confident with my SPM results.

I came early for my interview ( it was to be 2.30pm, I came at 2.00pm) then, I went to the interview room and just stood around doing nothing. The 1st person I met was a malaysian girl, she's fro JB, 2nd person was one of the interviewee's, just want to confirm that we're the one's to be interviewed. 3rd was another malaysian girl, she's from melaka. then our interview started... there were about 30 people who came.

then, we were putted into groups... some groups have 10 ppl, some have 8, etc. mine got nine. long story short, my Portfolio blew their minds! hahahahaha!!

Thank you God!! Prayer ROCks!! (seriously!!) Thank you mom & dad! Thank you KoKo!! Thank you Dr. Ng for giving me an encouragement boost!! Thank you jit & yoshua!! Thank you An. sze & Un. ven! Today is the day I went for driving test. It's suppose to be some... life changing event.
well, it is,... I've changed my opinion on certain people and certain things....
Car testing is divided into two sections.
1) test on road driving
2) test on parking, three point turn and going uphill

I totally passed my road driving, and was suppose to pass my parking.
but, this crap guy came to me after I've finished my stuff but was still in the car...

My whole family celebrated Chinese New year in penang this year.
it's very nice to be able to meet our relatives in penang after a long time.
manage to meet my cousins on my fathers side, and my mom's side. it's kinda amusing to see them when they meet. basically what we all as children did was,: greet relative -> receive Ang Pow -> say 'thank you' -> greet another relative -> receive another ang pow -> say 'thank you' again -> greet another relative ->........ etc.

The sennen-goroshi

in chinese it's known as :Qian Nian sha(千年殺), in english: Thousand Years of Death
It's the easiest, the most annoying, the quickest and one of the most dangerous ninja techniqes ever... its done by putting your hands together, make a fist but stick out the index and the middle fingers, then very quickly shove the 4 fingers into someones butt. as in fig 1.

My mom missed my dad so much, she's just gotta see him, mean while Lasslle had an open day on saturday. So we decided to leave for singapore on saturday.So that means mom wasn't here for these few days. Just before our trip, my mom left me & my bro a lot of ingredients to cook food for ourselves... cuz she's going away for a few days.
our trip to singapore was kinda cool, except the part where we cannot find the KTM train station.
we didn't need to cook anything, cuz grandpa & grandma offered to cook our meals for us... so much for leaving ingredients... actually more bad things happend than good all this while...
*sigh* what a life....

we went to this tea plantation or something... the weather there was so cold, you don't even know how cold is cold!! without your sweater or coat or something warm, you won't go anywhere!!

Went to 2 trips from 9.12.08 to 14.12.08
1) KL Trip: 1st day-genting, 2nd day-Sunway lagoon , 3rd day-KL City
we left kluang at 4.00am and arrive there at 11.00am

there was 35 of us. (so that means not everyone is in my photos...). Genting has a lot of rides but we didn't ride all of them, cuz not all of them are intresting... Meanwhile,...in sunway lagoon, we ride all the rides except one. which is the farris wheel. sunway lagoon is trully a blast.
The KL trip was also good. I even got to saw someone's wallet being picked!!
of couse... I bought a lot of things too...

2)ESP-7: learnt many things.....meet a lot of people... it was a blast...

Its already some time since SPM is gone....
Realised that I've almost finished my list of things I wanna do after SPM.
So WHat do I do??
No,I didn't add things into my list (...yet)
This guy from school got nothing to do, so he invited 5 great,wise and good looking guys such as myself to go to Trengganu just for fun. We stayed at this boys uncles place which is by the beach,for 3 days.To get to the point straight away, we went fishing at the sea, the uncle told us not to go too far. probably because we don't know how far is 'too far' so we went 'too far'.
Strangely it didn't make us realise we were 'too far' because we were busy catching these really huge fishes...
Then! It happened!! I somehow, caught this big, menacing fish. unfortunately this guy doesn't like the idea of being caught and eaten by me. so, the fish pulled us further into the sea.
As i reel back the string half of my fellow boat-mates were cheering for me, while the other half told me to let go of the rod..
the fishing string snapped!! then, our faces suddenlly turn white when we saw....
a shark fin!! Oh- my- goodness!!
my friends were so panicked, I had to row our boat away... the thing is, im the only one person rowing(thats me!!) and this shark has got a swimming power of 50 people. plus its hungry so, that 25 man-power. In short, the shark was gaining on us..
Not knowing what to do, I stared praying like I never prayed....
I even asked God to welcome me home.... I really thought it was the end...
Then,
BANG!! BANG!!
we heard gun shot!!
Apparently, the guys uncle came to save us with a rifle.
Praise the Lord!! Hallelujah!!!
after getting a lecture, the next thing we knew, we were eating shark fin....
What an experience!!

Today I was chilling out, surfing the net at home,...
my mom went to bathe, Then, I went to the toilet,
In the toilet, I heard a sound... The sound of the front house gate opening.
I thought it was my mom. Maybe she's taking out the trash or something.
I came out of the toilet, and sat down to continue what I was doing.

THEN!!! This black shadow passed by, and stopped in front of the door!
Turned my head to look, and saw this Smelly looking malay guy ,Whom I never met in my entire life so far!! ( Seriously that guy IS smelly, smoking you see,...)

I drew the curtains away, and saw a guy so ugly, you don't know how ugly is ugly...

These days I hitch a hike from one of my classmates to get home from school.
there will be to other who will follow. The driver is a girl, while we passengers are guys...
last Thursday our driver mentioned she will fetch her 2nd elder brother from his workshop.
When those 2 people heard '2nd elder brother', they told me I'll have a hard time.
Why?
They say it's because the girl's brother is very strict with his sister. Last time a boy went to here place, he got really mad and said he want to find the dude & beat him up.
Got a shock... gou li... How?
My classmate sent those 2 people home 1st before she went 2 pick up her bro.
When I saw the dude the only thing that went trough my mind is :'' Gou li.... I'm so dead...''

I have to take over her class (std 2 I think)
i learnt that i oso have to become the MC. accepted....
not too hard on being MC. but, the teaching,.... uh!
Nobody was interested in the lessons, but everyone was really in to the crafwork. (we were making paper bombs)
There were those who can learn really, really fast and oso those who can't learn as fast...
the fast ones want to do very fast and I have to slowly teach those who are slow... step by step... slowly.... slowly.... slowly wearing out my patience.....
